Tapping for Radical Love
Emotional Freedom Technique

LIVE TAP
Sunday August 2
11 am – 1 pm CST
Cost: $10-$40 sliding scale
register here

Tapping is a method that clears and rebuilds the nervous system. When we dispel chaos from our systems, we become energetically stronger to amplify our abilities to engage conflict mindfully, so we can meet the tide of increasing polarization with cooperation, connection and respect for all life.

How do we respond to the sharp increase of authoritarianism around the world? In the US, many people feel great fear, dread, and concern. We know that people of all countries who are seeing and enduring toxic leadership and polarization share these feelings.

In this tap, we will come together in solidarity with all people struggling with the overwhelming circumstances of our times. How do we meet these times with the eternal power of heart and spirit?

We will tap to bring kindness forward and release fear, by empowering the truth of love. The power of violence is always an act of weakness, while the power of kindness and love endures, overcomes, and inspires Radical Love as our species continues to evolve.

Hatred is never overcome by hatred.

Only through love is hatred overcome.

This is the eternal law. — The Buddha

Join us as we resource ourselves in nurturing Earth energies and strengthen the felt sense that unseen forces care for and support us. Together, let’s build resilience and affirm the power of love to carry us forward.

This event is part of a series of opportunities created by Dharmagiri Sacred Mountain Sanga.

I met Thanissara and Kitissaro at a retreat in California in November 2019. During the retreat, we sat next to each other on our mats. Although we didn’t speak, we felt a kinship in our hearts.

After the retreat, we introduced ourselves. When I heard of the great work they’re doing in the world, I felt called to join their efforts with mine.  We began to explore how I could contribute to their ongoing projects and effective actions of service.

I’m honored and happy to offer an EFT tapping session and be a part of this series of events that Thanissara and Kitssaro are hosting. There are many wonderful offerings. The link to the series is here.

THIS

Thanissara and Kittisaro’s vision is that this is sacred ground. This body, this moment, this life. The earth we live on, our relationships, community, is sacred ground. They’ve established and continue to maintain communities of refuge, offering the dharma and social services in South Africa, United Kingdom and California.

They’re truly spiritual activists, active in Climate Change, Restorative Justice and healing for people who’ve been displaced and harmed by the political and economic realities and acts of injustice across the world.

Emotions are a water element. They’re meant to flow. Tapping, or EFT, uses acupressure points & guided dialogue to relieve painful emotions and dismantle harmful beliefs. It’s highly effective relieving PTSD.

Tapping is shadow work. We invite suppressed emotions to come conscious, so we can meet our feelings in a gentle, loving way, with kindness. Tapping is a physiological process that discharges painful emotions and resets the nervous system, so we can feel grounded, centered and calm again.

Nancy works from Houston. An artist and spiritual coach, she does Akashic Records readings and emotional healing through EFT and Flower Essences. Nancy works online with clients all over the world. She developed Body Prayers, guided transmissions of Light, to deepen our capacity to receive Love from the Source of All Love.

We Want Leaders Who Care!! Dismantling Dominator Culture

Leading through partnership

Leadership is essential in any society. In times of crisis, a good leader uses their power to benefit the people. In contrast, a tyrant will take advantage and seek to seize power for themselves.

Tyrants sow distrust and conflict, and seek to profit from the suffering of others. “Unlike the King archetype, which creates and blesses others, the Tyrant seeks to destroy and tear down. Plagued by narcissism, her really does thing that he sits at the center of the universe. The Tyrant wrongly believes that power is finite; he has a scarcity mentality.”*

We’ll tap on feelings that are keeping us stuck or numb. We’ll breathe deeply, get grounded, and meet the anxious places in us with kindness and compassion.

We’ll tap on the energies of Saturn and Pluto that can feel heavy, dark and oppressive.

What may emerge from this transformational process?

We’ll tap on what our lives would look like if we had leaders who care. Leaders who are ethical, authentic, grounded, altruistic.

We’ll explore what qualities of leadership are working within us, and how to become leaders in our own spheres of influence, even when our national leaders are lacking.

In Chinese medicine, emotions originate in the organs of our bodies. Doing EFT, we’re tapping on meridian endpoints, which helps stuck or frozen emotions flow. When they flow, we feel freer, as if a weight has lifted. Feeling more grounded and at peace supports your immune system, your nervous and endocrine systems, your digestion — your health overall.

And brings new awareness of your power.

All of these troubles can be seen as a wake up call, to awaken our latent gifts to love, heal and lead in a good way.

Join our tapping circle on Zoom. Bring your angst, your worries and stresses. Tapping is a somatic process that literally moves emotions through your body and brings relief and a more uplifting perspective shift. This transformation in your nervous system is accomplished on a somatic level, which then generates new, more helpful thoughts.

However you’re feeling, bring it to the tap and watch it transform into a more self-loving, kinder, grounded way of moving through.

This tap will be recorded, and the video will be available for replay anytime you want to do the tap again.

We’ll start with a brief introduction to tapping, and a guided grounding meditation and then we’ll tap. Newcomers to tapping are welcome.

This tap will be recorded, so you can repeat the tap when you’re ready for another round.

DATE: Thursday, May 21 at 4:30 pm PST, 6:30 pm CST, 7:30 pm EST
Duration: 90 minutes

COST: $25, includes prep kit & access to replay

TWO WAYS TO PAY – $25

After paying, email me  to receive Zoom link & Tapping Preparation kit, along with tips for after care. Preparation takes about 10 minutes and is optional.

What’s your worry?
Live EFT tap for emotional support riding the waves in Pandemic times

Each week we’re dealing with Covid-19 has a different feel. A different theme. Our collective experience can be chaotic and confusing. We also have our own individual circumstances and ways of processing emotions. Many people report high levels of anxiety, fear and grief due to the corona virus.

The specter of death is seen by the Soul as an invitation to do shadow work.

Supporting people doing shadow work is my passion and my super power. Tapping is a gentle yet powerful way to journey into the shadow safely and come out refreshed, with a new perspective–a new way to see and be.

In Chinese medicine, emotions originate in the organs of our bodies. In EFT, we’re tapping on meridian endpoints, which helps stuck or frozen emotions flow. When they flow, we feel freer, as if a weight has lifted. Feeling more grounded and at peace supports your immune system, your nervous and endocrine systems, your digestion — your health overall. And brings more ease into relationships.

WHAT’S MINE TO DO?

STRESS RELEASE IN PANDEMIC TIMES
Introduction to EFT tapping
Guided meditation followed by group tap

Monday, 4-20-20
11 am CT
Zoom link below
PAY IT FORWARD

We want to do what we can to help. But at times, we can’t focus. We don’t know how to be useful, other than social distancing, disinfecting things and wearing masks. We want to be helpful, while minimizing risk to others and to ourselves.

Because it supports the sympathetic nervous system, which helps us rest and digest, tapping is great for discharging stress & creating a more positive outlook. Though we can’t control what’s happening or what will happen, we have the power to ground and center, breathe fully, tune in and listen.

Inner support– we need to remember that we’re not alone. We’re all surrounded by helpful spirits at all times. We just need to ask for their help.

Outer support–A community is stronger than one person standing alone.

Question 1 – Ask yourself: What do I need, in order to feel supported?

Take your time with this question. It’s OK not to know the answer. If you sit with the question long enough, clarity will come. Tapping can help you get there.

Your soul has a quiet voice. To hear your inner guidance, take time tune in and listen to the voice of your soul, your guides, the earth and stars. We will do this in our group tap.

When you’re supported from within, you’re nourishing your roots. Your wellbeing helps you support others, because you have more to give and you give more cleanly.

Question 2 – “What’s mine to do?”

Tapping can help you:

  • get clearer by helping you accept whatever you’re feeling
  • activate helpful energies
  • act from a more expansive, grounded state
  • stay connected with the earth
  • get out of your head & into your body
  • stop trying to do your part by yourself, without tapping in to your well ancestors and guides

PAY IT FORWARD

Join us for an online EFT tap on Monday, 4-20-20 at 9 am PT, 11 am CT, 12 noon ET.

I’m not asking you to pay me for this service. Instead, I ask you to kindly share your gratitude and appreciation by making a donation to purchase supplies for people living on the Navajo reservation in Arizona and New Mexico. They need masks, hand sanitizer and gloves. Whatever you donate will go directly where it’s needed.

Pay from your Heart, suggested donation $25
Ask your heart what you can pay. What amount honors your need to both receive and give?
Send your donation to Evonder Ahe, specify “supplies for Navajo rez”

Two ways to Pay

Anyone you’d like to invite is welcome. Invite people you’d feel comfortable in a shared space of some degree of vulnerability.

To prepare for the session make a few notes about:

  • What emotions are you feeling?
  • what thoughts are you thinking?
  • what are you sensing in your body?
  • try to be brief, choose 3 answers for each questions

Is there a theme in your emotions, thoughts & sensations?

  • look for a persistent state, such as: can’t sleep; feel stuck; weepy, joyful
  • Fear for someone who is sick, recovering or dying
  • Fear that you will die
  • Make notes (optional) about what needs to move, where you feel blocked, confused, unsettled or whatever is showing up now
  • Your tap will focus on what you need

Whatever you’re feeling makes sense in the context of what everyone is feeling. We are all connected.

We’ll bring breath, light and kindness to the places that feel ungrounded, anxious or sad, and see what wants to move.

We’ll call in guidance, “What’s mine to do?” Or if that question doesn’t resonate with you, “________________” (write your own question here….)

At all times, while tapping, if the language I use or the themes I choose don’t resonate with you, simply change the words and tap on what is true for you.

Be in a location where you won’t be disturbed. Close the door, put a do not disturb sign up, silence your phone and hide it. Multi-tasking during the tap is not advised.

Have on hand:

  • Water or tea to drink
  • Tissues
  • Journal and pen
  • We’ll start with a 10-15 minute introduction to tapping
  • Then tap for 15 minutes to an hour
  • If you need to leave early, that’s fine
  • Keep your mic muted as we tap, so you can change the words as needed, and minimize background noise
  • This live tap will be recorded so you can share or tap again whenever need arisesAll are welcome!
Invite family & friends to join the live tap
    or share the replay freely.

My prayers are that this tap will be helpful and useful to people who will carry the medicine forward.

I call on all helpful powers to make this be so.

WOMEN’S BLESSING CIRCLE
FRIDAY APRIL 3 AT 11 AM CST

is the place to water the seeds of LOVE, acceptance, wisdom and compassion. In the bigger, deeper places within us—we know how to do this.

is the place to weed out fears, anxieties, feelings of helplessness or stagnation that arise—which we may have inherited from family, religion or culture—or they may be transmitted by people around us who are living in fear.  Or the collective angst.

Powerful guided meditations for protection and steadiness
EFT tapping to process difficult emotions & claim your peaceful strength
Get out of the freeze response
Magnify your resilience with emotional freedom

Our Circle is a spiral that leads us to drill down around outdated beliefs and subconscious programs that increase suffering for ourselves and others, and uproot them.

Clear the way for feeling secure and steady in unsteady times of uncertainty.

Recently I dug into my fear of suffering—both my own and the suffering of others. I was surprised to realize that as a child, I’d been taught that if others were suffering, it wasn’t OK for me to feel joyful—or have my own feelings. The truth of that realization hit me like a brick. I didn’t know that belief was still running in the background, triggering anxiety and ungrounded feelings.

When I’m suffering, I’m contributing to my own pain. Pain is part of life. Suffering is how we relate to what we’re experiencing. Suffering is resisting what is.

Some religions teach that we are born lacking morality. That being unethical and selfish is inevitable unless we reject our bodies and accept our unworthiness. FALSE!

There is no such thing as Original Sin. You weren’t born ‘bad.’ You were not born in sin. You weren’t born to suffer.

You’re here to LIVE LIFE and embrace LOVE, even when life is not what you think you want it to be.

When my sister died (when I was 23), I fought reality so hard. I refused to accept her death, refused to accept that she’d ended her own life. A part of me believed that if I refused to admit she was dead, then she wouldn’t be dead. I was in so much pain, which was magnified by my denial and my lack of skill with my emotions.

I know the Dark Night of the Soul. It’s not a theory to me. I lived it for years.

I’m a fighter. When I’m in resistance, I’m a tough nut to crack. When I finally cracked open, I’d exhausted all other options. The tough survivor in me finally softened enough to let my vulnerability surface. I was finally ready to simply be still. And FEEL the swirl of emotions around me, tossing me around as I felt groundless. My whole reality had changed.

Meditation helped me begin to stay present. And became a lifelong practice.

So, I get it. I get the worries, the fears, the feelings of helplessness, the rage that surges. I don’t judge anyone for having these human feelings. I’ve felt them all, countless times.

I’m passionate about helping you get to a more centered and grounded place, even in the face of this pandemic. I’m fierce about bringing in self-kindness and self-love to steady you.

Women especially have a lot of influence on the emotional lives of others. We have a lot of power to uplift morale.

And, we have to start within ourselves.

We have choices. In the face of uncertainty, we can choose to accept what’s happening in the world, and we can choose to accept that we don’t know what’s going to come next.

We can choose to embrace the teaching that everything that happens is meant to be.

We can choose to surrender. To drop our resistance to NOW. Every time we fight reality, reality wins. When I fully accepted my sister’s death, my life got so much better. I felt lighter again. I came through the grief and the trauma and emerged with some gifts.

No matter what’s going on, we can breathe, ground, center, and feel grateful for life.

The sun rose again this morning. What a miracle.

CHILD FRIENDLY—If you’re home with small kids.

I invite you to participate in this circle with your kids in the room with you. They can come and go. You can mute your mic, turn off the video if you want privacy, and listen to the broadcast while moving through your day, playing with kids, folding laundry and doing the endless chores of mothering.

You’ll receive the energy transmissions. You’ll feel the grounding and centering. You can breathe with us. You can tap along with us while doing what you need to be doing.

You can multi-task live, and then have the replay whenever you feel to review and renew.

We’ll include your entire family—all of our families, in the blessings we call in.

Come as you are.

No need to dress up. Wear your PJ’s if you want to. Or do dress up, wear something fun. Or daring. Or purposeful.
