Bio
I am an intuitive healer and artist working with colored Light. I have a BA from Rice University and Master of Fine Arts from University of Houston. I’m passionate about fostering resilience and living a fulfilling, joyful life.
Since emotions can support or diminish our spiritual wellbeing, I use Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or Tapping, for emotional regulation and transmits subtle healing energies through Guided Meditation.
A pioneer in Mind-Body healing, I have decades of training and professional practice in energy healing, including: Polarity Energy Balancing, Craniosacral Therapy, homebirth midwifery, and transpersonal states. Since 1980, I’ve practiced somatic meditations, including: chi gong, yoga, tai chi and dance.
A trauma survivor who now thrives, I’m passionate about helping people transform their lives, dismantling trauma and reorienting to peace, self-kindness, health and joy.
At 23, I had a shared death experience, followed by a kundalini awakening. This led to a spontaneous initiation into the Akashic Records transmission at age 27. For 15 years, I explored the Akashic through colored light and painting. I read the Akashic Records for my clients by request. Read more about my initiation here.

I live and see clients in Houston and work with clients worldwide on Zoom. I’ve done healing work or taught workshops at The Houstonian, Spectrum Center Houston, and Indigo Healing Institute in Albuquerque.
Since 2008, I’ve taught workshops at Jung Center of Houston on topics such as:

Some of the presenters had said that they didn’t work with trauma survivors, because “they don’t want to heal.”
I found this sentiment disheartening, but I wasn’t discourage. In the years since then, healing trauma has become widely celebrated. I’m grateful we live in an era where we are learning more and more how to heal trauma effectively.
5 years later, my skills have gotten more effective, as I go deeper into using an approach centered on healing the nervous system by retraining our brains to come from fight, flight, freeze into rest, digest and ease.
“I DISSENT!”
I get real, and talk about how people CAN and DO heal from trauma, which can lead to wisdom, compassion and insight.
Trauma is not just in our beliefs, it’s in our nervous systems–positive thinking, meditation and affirmations are helpful — but they are not enough to heal the nervous system of complex PTSD. We need and deserve more.
