Do you feel overwhelmed by current events? The divisiveness, erosion of protections for the environment and mistreatment of vulnerable people. Do you fall into grief, anger disaster-sizing? Do you want to be able to stay centered, grounded and clear in the crazy and the chaos?
It’s all too easy to get sucked in to the vortex of crazy.
“It’s like watching a train wreck!”
“I can’t do anything to stop it.”
Thoughts like these weigh heavy on our hearts.
We don’t function well when we’re in overwhelm.
I can teach you self-care for you and your family during crazy, chaotic times.
When you find yourself slipping into this state, tune in to your body. Notice what sensations your body is creating. With kindness and spaciousness, witness what you are feeling without trying to change it.
Does your belly feel heavy? Does your neck feel tight?
Whatever you are sensing, be with it and stay present. Don’t make your feelings wrong or suppress them.
As you drop more deeply into your heart, a question may pop up:
How do I take care of myself and be sourced in Love
when I feel so much pain — in humanity and in the world?
How can I be of service instead of feeling disabled?
I work this process myself as needed. Recently, when I did this, I felt the space in the room change. I knew from experience that my guides in the Akashic were reaching out to me.
After a period of meditation and deep, cleansing breaths, I opened my Akashic Records, using the invocation I’ve refined over the past 2 decades.
As the records opened, a brilliant yellow-gold light bathed the room. I wrote down the message I received. I share them with you here.

“You do not judge a sketch in progress, a poem in its rudiment of a few words.
Do not judge the unfinished work of art that is your life and the life of the world.
All is not as it seems.
Souls are continuously coming and going, as are species. Until now, no one has been able to quantify this on a global level.
Humanity is an experience.
This teaching because it blew my mind! It reminded me what
my teacher Beautiful Painted Arrow taught me:
Human beings are not nouns. We are verbs.
The transmission continues…..
“Within all life, there are common denominators, as well as unique configurations of waves and particles, chemistry, magnetism and electromagnetism.
When you see the All in its wholeness, you see that pain and suffering are facets of the mandala of creation.
We are giving you permission to focus on Love, gratitude, play, prayer, song, dance, art—that which moves the energy and uplifts you, amidst the multiplicity.
Become more aware, get clearer about what is yours to do. If it is yours to do, you will feel relief and a sense of being supported when you take action.”
Even though this last part is personal to me, I’m guided to share it, as it applies to many old souls.
From the Akashic: “You have a habit in your soul of carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Not only is this unnecessary. It cannot be done!
The Atlas archetype: When you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders — you invoke the task of Sisyphus. Carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, and you will always be rolling that ball up the hill, world without end.”
